Matcha Latte
Matcha Latte is an old-style, semi-bold font inspired by my love of matcha, nature, and vintage style. I designed this font with the idea of a tea cafe in mind, to help set the tone of a place that feels warm, herbaceous, and overall something that feels like home.

Process
My process began with studying and researching old style fonts and other similar fonts I felt inspired by. I then created a moodboard to keep track of everything and began sketching. I decided on a sketch of a lowercase “g” I made to be the foundation letter, and began sketching my entire typeface based on that one letter. One completed I finally digitized the entire font using Glyphs.
